Why We Publish

We started Pski’s* Porch Publishing because we love books, and good writing, and because the world of contemporary publishing has some structural problems that prevents a lot of good work from getting published, problems that seem to have worsened with corporate consolidation. Small presses have long existed to counteract the effects of mainstream publishing culture, and we are happy to be part of that tradition.
